Gossip and Gloom

I have recently received an unsolicited email of an evil report against another. When I tried to verify the stories the coward would not answer my simple questions.

So,

GOSSIP AND GLOOM

Gossip and Gloom
Are bothers-in-woe,
Whatever they say
Know it’s not so.

Gossip and Gloom
Are in a bad way,
Pray do not believe
A word that they say.

Gossip and Gloom
On mischief are bent,
Their foolish opinions
Are not worth a cent.

Gossip and Gloom
Do things on the sly,
They secretly whisper
And most often lie.

Gossip and Gloom
Are not good for you,
With such busybodies
Have nothing to do.
