Sharpton apologizing to LDS officials?

Although I do not respect Sharpton, he has a point by not trusting Mitt Romney.

Mitt Romney
is a temple-card holding Mormon. He took oaths in a Mormon temple to put the LDS church above all else. That could mean a conflict of interests to do what his church orders him to do. And count on it, they will use every means to promote themselves like a pageant of power.

Rauni Higley pointed out that Mormon oaths some years ago were against the United States, saying, You and each of you do covenant and promise that you will pray and never cease to pray to Almighty God to avenge the blood of the prophets [Joseph Smith and Hyrum Smith] upon this nation, that you will teach the same to your children and to your children’s children unto the third and fourth generation.”

Romney’s ancestry participated in this, and his grandparents were polygamist. His father was born in Mexico, because his parents had to leave Utah in order to practice polygamy at that time.

Mormon basic beliefs insists upon dark skinned people being rebellious as pre-existent spirits. The LDS teaching about black skin and the curse of Cain is never repudiated by Mormons because that's what they believe.

Is dark skin is inferior? Brigham Young is highly esteemed in Utah, even to have the favored University bear his name. He said, "You see some classes of the human family that are black, uncouth, uncomely, disagreeable and low in their habits, wild, and seemingly without the blessings of the intelligence that is generally bestowed upon mankind . . . the Lord put a mark on him, which is the flat nose and black skin." (Gen. Conf., Oct. 9, 1859, Journal of Discourses, 7:290-291) It mystifies me how BYU was named after a white supremacist.

Brigham Young said, "Shall I tell you the law of God in regard to the African race? If the white man who belongs to the chosen seed mixes his blood with the seed of Cain, the penalty, under the law of god, is death on the spot. This will always be so." (Journal of Discourses, 10:110). No! The LDS "prophet" was viciously preaching murder!

Brigham Young said, "On that very day, and from the hour we should do so, the priesthood is taken from this church and kingdom, and God leaves us to our fate. The moment we consent to mingle with the seed of Cain, the Church must go to destruction,--we should receive the curse . . ." (B.Y. Address, Feb. 5, 1852, Ms d 1234, Box 488, Folder 3, L.D.S. Archives). The LDS church self-destructed as its prophet emphatically warned, even losing the alleged priesthood! Was Brigham right that apostates turn "gray-haired, wrinkled, and black, just like the Devil"? (Journal of Discourses 5:332) Who has? Most LDS believe anything their leaders tell them.

What does the media or the press mean by "Reverand" Jackson or "Reverand" Sharpton? We can give a man the title of Pastor or Evangelist, which is plenty good enough. I don't see that any of the above names fit them anyway. They're political revolutionaries, not godly men. "Reverand" was used once in the Bible and it's not about any men. It disgusts God when men try to elevate themselves by assuming His holy titles. Let a man stick to the human titles because this one belongs solely to GOD, not Sharpton or any one else. Why is that so hard to understand?

Psalm 111:9 says, "He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant forever: holy and reverend is his name."
