No, you can’t compete with the world …

No Church can compete with the world when is comes to entertaining human beings. The world has millions of dollars to hire the most skilled of entertainers, and the world does its entertaining with no hold barred.

The pastor who depends on some clever entertainment gimmick to draw people will not draw many people. And the few people he does draw will get very little good out of that service. But the pastor who fearlessly and faithfully declares the whole Word of God, and does it with intelligence and compassion, will usually have people there to hear him.
